953 is Dead
953 was an alternative space in Louisville, KY offered by its founder and sculptor, Mike Ratterman. He offered this space to show work that was created to confront and challenge the traditional for profit gallery structure. Artist that utilized it often did installation, performance and sound work.
This show was an offering from me to show the stagnation in the traditional system. The wheel chair, gizzards, yolks and venus fly traps all have a very visceral commentary in general about the human condition.
